Natural Stone

You will find the Natural Stone workshop over at F-26 in the Ricco Industrial Area, specifically within the 3rd Phase. Being located in a major industrial zone means we are surrounded by a lot of other factories and busy warehouses. It is always noisy with the sound of trucks passing by and machines running, but that is just the way things are around here. We focus on getting different types of natural stone ready for local builders and homeowners. Our unit is basically a large open shed with stones piled up in almost every corner. We spend most of our time out there in the heat, checking the edges of the slabs and making sure the polish looks okay before anything leaves the yard. It is really hard on the back, lifting and moving these heavy things all day long. We started this place because we had worked in other stone yards for years and finally thought we could try doing it on our own. It hasn't always been easy, and there are certainly days when the cutting machines act up or a delivery doesn't show up when it was supposed to. We don't try to make the business sound like something it isn't. It is just a regular workspace where we cut and process stone. When someone comes in looking for a specific type of limestone, we just walk them through the rows. There is no big sales pitch here. We just show what we have.
