Mittal Granites

Mittal Granites has been operating right near the railway station in Bagra for some time now. Being so close to the station makes it easy for people to find us, though the noise from the trains is something you just get used to after a few days. We deal with granite, mostly local stuff that comes from the quarries around here. The yard is usually filled with slabs and blocks waiting to be moved. It’s a bit of a rough-and-tumble business, working with heavy stone all day. Our team is small, just a few local guys who know their way around a crane and a cutting machine. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the records and talk to customers who drop in. Most of the work happens outside under the sheds. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is part of the job. We see a lot of different people coming through Bagra looking for stone for their houses or bigger projects. We try to be helpful and show them what we have in stock at the moment. It’s not a complicated operation, really. We just make sure the granite is cut decently and loaded safely onto the trucks. If the trains are running on time, it helps with the logistics, but mostly we just focus on the piles of stone sitting in front of us. It is hard work but it pays the bills for us and the crew.
