Maruti Granite & Marble

Maruti Granite & Marble is located out on Bhinmal Road in Bagra. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a drive, but we’ve been here for a good amount of time. We deal mostly in granite and marble, and we keep everything right here on the lot. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There is always dust on everything, and the sound of the crane is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We spend most of our time outside because that’s where the stone is. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom. If you want to see the marble, you just walk through the yard with us. We get a lot of local folks from Bagra and the surrounding villages who are working on their homes. They come in looking for something for a kitchen or a floor. We show them what we’ve got and let the stone speak for itself. Some pieces have nice veins and others are more plain. That's just nature. We don't try to make it sound like something it’s not. It’s hard work moving these slabs, and we have to be careful. We take our tea breaks when the sun gets too high and just talk about the day. It’s a family-run kind of place, nothing corporate about it. We just want to provide the stone people need and keep the business going for another year. It is what it is.
