Laxmi Stone Trading

We started Laxmi Stone Trading a while ago here in B-Shanti Nagar. The shop is right by the Lakbati Electricity House, so it is easy for people to spot us when they come down this way. We mostly deal with different kinds of stones that people need for building their houses or fixing up old floors. It gets quite busy during the day because of the location. The dust from the stones is just part of the job and we have gotten used to it over the years. My brother and I manage most of the things ourselves. We don't have a big office or fancy desks, just a small space where we sit and talk to anyone who walks in. People from the district come by looking for specific sizes or colors, and we show them what is currently in the yard. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move the heavier pieces around, especially when it rains a lot. We just try to keep things organized as much as we can. It’s a simple life here. We open early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our neighbors know us by name now. We don't do much advertising because most people just hear about us from someone else in the area. It is just a regular local business trying to get the work done every single day. We don't worry about being the biggest, just about having the right stock when someone needs it.
