Kumawat Stone Industries

Our place is over at G-91 in the third phase of the industrial area. It's a bit of a maze back here with all the factories and trucks moving around, but we like it. The machines are running most of the morning and afternoon. You can hear the saws from down the block. We mostly focus on the cutting part of the stone business. It gets messy with all the water and stone slurry on the floor, so we’re always wearing boots. We aren't really the type for big sales pitches or fancy showrooms. We just have our workspace and the stone we're working on that day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to sit around and wait, which is frustrating, but that's part of being in this zone. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The neighbors are mostly other workshops, so nobody complains about the noise. We keep our overhead low. Just a few of us working here, making sure the measurements are right. It’s hard work on the back, especially when loading the trucks, but it keeps us busy. If you’re looking for the fancy side of things, this probably isn't the spot. We're more about the grit and the actual labor of getting stone ready for building. It's just what we do every day. We don't have much time for anything else besides the workshop and getting the orders finished on time.
