Kanchan Janga Granites

Our workshop is located at Plot No. G-224 in the third phase of the RIICO Industrial Area. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but this is where all the heavy stone work happens. We focus mainly on granites. The yard stays full of big blocks and slabs waiting to be cut. We have the cutting machines running from early in the morning until late. It is dusty work and everyone has to wear heavy boots all the time. We supply a lot of the local construction sites in the region. The RIICO area is very large so sometimes people get lost trying to find our gate. We just tell them to look for the big crane in the distance. We have been at this same spot for quite some time now. The crew we have knows exactly how to handle the heavy slabs without breaking anything. We don't have a fancy front office for meetings. It is just a small cabin where we keep the records and sit to have some tea. It gets really cold in the winter mornings out here in the open. We just bundle up and work through it. Shipping the slabs out on the trucks is the hardest part of the day. You have to be so careful with the ropes and the wooden blocks. It is a very straightforward business. We buy the raw material, process it, and sell it to the builders. No bells or whistles at our place.
