Jay Balaji Enterprise

Our business, Jay Balaji Enterprise, sits right at Karda Chouraha in Bhinmal. Being near the Hanuman Ji Mandir means there is always a lot of activity around us, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The shop is a basic space where we keep our stock piled up. We deal with various items that people in the area need for their homes or small projects. It is a busy intersection, so there is a lot of dust and the sound of horns all day long. I usually sit at a small wooden table near the entrance to greet whoever comes in. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just some sturdy shelves and the goods stacked where we can reach them. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just keep the doors open for light. The floor is made of cement and shows a lot of wear from the heavy bags we move around. It is a one-man show most days, though my nephew comes by to help when he is not at school. We know most of the people who pass by Karda Chouraha by name. It is a simple way to earn a living, making sure we have what the locals are looking for. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. There is always something to do, whether it is counting the stock or cleaning up the storefront.
