Hitesh Granite

Hitesh Granite is located on Bhinmal Road, right near the Laxmi Gas Godawan. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows, so it makes finding us a lot easier. The road out front is always busy with traffic heading in and out of the area. We have a big space where we keep all the granite slabs. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, most of us are covered in a fine layer of grey stone powder. We don’t have a big polished office with air conditioning. We mostly spend our time outside in the yard or under the small shed we have. Dealing with granite is heavy work and it requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather makes it hard to move the slabs around safely. We just take things as they come. There is a lot of back and forth with the drivers and the customers who stop by. It’s a very local vibe here; we know the neighbors and the people at the gas godown. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the stone and making sure the inventory is counted correctly. It’s a simple, straightforward life on Bhinmal Road and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the rhythm of the work. It is what it is.
