Fateh Granites Ltd.

We spend most of our days down at F-88 in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot. If you walk by Fateh Granites Ltd., you’ll probably hear the machines running before you see the gate. We deal with granite slabs all day long. It’s heavy work, and things get pretty dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up across the industrial lot. My shirt usually has a bit of stone dust on it by noon. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The yard is filled with different stacks of stone. Some are dark, some have more pattern. We spend a lot of time moving these big pieces around with the crane. It takes a steady hand so nothing gets chipped. People come by to look at what we have in stock. We show them around the piles and talk about how thick the cuts are. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a work site with a lot of heavy lifting. Most of us have been working with stone for years, so we know how it behaves. Usually, there’s a truck being loaded or unloaded near the front. We just keep our heads down and get the cutting done. It’s what we do. The tea stall around the corner is where we take a break when it gets too hot. It’s a simple life at F-88, just focusing on the granite and making sure the pieces are ready for whoever needs them.
