You can find us over at Plot No-12 in Baghli. We’re right near Universal Industries, so it’s a pretty industrial part of the neighborhood. There’s usually a lot of noise from the machines and the trucks moving around. We deal in granite and marble, mostly keeping large slabs in the yard. It’s a heavy business. We spend a lot of the day operating the crane or help loading up trailers for deliveries. The ground is always a bit dusty from the stone being cut or moved. We aren’t really the type of place with a fancy front desk. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out in the yard or in the small office space near the gate. We’ve been in Baghli for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area. It’s a lot of physical labor, making sure the stone doesn’t crack and that everything is measured right. Some days are slower than others, depending on how many construction projects are going on nearby. We just try to keep a decent variety of colors and patterns so people have options when they walk through the rows of slabs. It’s a straightforward way to make a living.
