Chandrika Granite

We are tucked away in the 3Rd Phase, right behind the Bharat Gas Godown on Dhavla Road. It is a bit of a hidden spot, but once you find Chandrika Granite, you will see we have plenty going on. The big trucks come in and out all day, delivering blocks that we have to process. It is a dusty place, and the sound of stone being moved around is just the background music of our lives. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We mostly just have rows of granite leaning against the iron frames. We spend our time checking the edges for cracks and making sure the polish is even on the finished pieces. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer, so we try to get the heaviest moving done early in the day. Sometimes people get lost trying to find us because of the large gas godown next door, so we usually tell them to just look for the stacks of stone. It is a very practical business. We don't spend much time on the computer; we would rather be out there with the material. Every slab has its own look, and we spend a lot of time explaining that to folks who haven't bought granite before. We are just a group of people working hard on Dhavla Road, keeping the granite moving and making sure the yard stays organized for the next delivery.
