Bhasker Granites

You can find us over at Bhagli Sindlan, right near the Shanti Nath Industrial Area on Chettiar Road. It's a bit of a drive out here, but this is where all the stone work for Bhasker Granites happens. We spend our days cutting slabs and moving heavy blocks around the yard. The dust gets everywhere, on our clothes and in our hair, but that's just the trade. We have a few machines that have been with us for years. They're loud but they get the job done right. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. People come here to see the actual stone in the sun. We show them the different colors and patterns we have in stock at the moment. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the granite, but we like it. The road out here is a bit bumpy so you have to drive slow when you're bringing a truck in. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when the machines are off for a break. It's a decent living. We don't promise anything crazy, we just do the work and hope the customers are happy enough to come back next time they need stone. The yard is usually full of inventory so it’s a bit tight to move around. We handle everything from the unloading to the final trimming right here on site.
