You can find us right behind the Roadways Depot in Rajendra Nagar, at number 21-110. Being near the bus depot means there is always noise and a lot of people walking around. The ground here is always a bit grey from the granite dust. We deal with various types of stone slabs. It’s hard work on the back, and we’ve all got the callouses to prove it. We don't have a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us covered in dust or talking on a mobile phone to a driver. We keep the inventory out in the open mostly. It’s not a fancy place at all. The roof leaks a tiny bit in the corner when it pours, but we keep the stones away from that spot. People come to us because they know where we are and we’ve been here a while. We don't spend money on fancy signs. There's an old dog that hangs around the yard, he doesn't belong to us but we feed him anyway. Most days start early, before the heat gets too bad. By the afternoon, we’re mostly just trying to stay in the shade and finish up the paperwork. It’s a straightforward business. We move stone from one place to another and try to keep everything organized, though it’s hard when things get busy. It's just a regular local yard.
