Varkari Agro Producer Company Limited

We are right by the Maruti Mandir in Dhamngaon, which is in the Chalisgaon area of Jalgaon. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers every day. It is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Jalgaon gets incredibly hot, so our work usually starts very early in the morning before the sun gets too high in the sky. Varkari Agro is about the local farming community here. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a place where people can stop by and talk. The office is at number 265 and it is usually filled with the smell of dust and tea. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of being an agro producer company in a place like Chalisgaon. There is always something to worry about, like the rain or the lack of it. We try to keep things moving and help the local farmers get their crops sorted out. It is a lot of talking and a lot of manual record-keeping. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit in the dark and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very local way of doing things. We aren't looking to change the world, just to make sure the work in Dhamngaon gets done properly and everyone gets what they need to keep their farms going.
