Shreya Agro

This is Shreya Agro, and we are based out of Amalner in Maharashtra. Specifically, we are in Room No 10 at Sheet Chhaya Society. It’s a small place, not a big industrial warehouse. We work under Vinayak Penkar here. Dealing with agro products means we spend a lot of time thinking about crops and the seasons. It’s a bit cramped in the room sometimes because we have folders and records piled up. Amalner is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us doing the daily work of sourcing and sorting out whatever needs to be moved. The society is a quiet residential spot, so we try not to make too much noise. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to local farmers and traders. We don't use complicated language. If a batch of grain is good, we say it’s good. If there’s a delay, we tell people. We’ve been here for a bit now and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Room 10 isn't hard to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We are just regular people working in the agriculture sector, trying to keep up with the cycles of the harvest and the markets.
