Sukjay Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at the home of Shri Sukdeo Bhila Patil. We are in the village of Mundane, which is near Amalner in the Parola taluka of Jalgaon. Our pin code is 424201. This is a very local operation run by farmers for farmers. We don't have an office in a big building. We just use a room at Sukdeo’s place to keep everything organized. Mundane is where we all live and work, so it makes sense to have the company right here. We spend our days dealing with the crops we grow in the Jalgaon soil. It’s a lot of manual labor and then coming back to the house to deal with the paperwork. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a corporate strategy. We just talk about what needs to be planted and how we are going to sell it this year. Sometimes the talk is about the rain or the price of fertilizer. We started Sukjay to give ourselves a bit more strength when dealing with the markets. It’s a simple idea. We have a few desks and some cupboards for the files. If you visit, you’ll just see us in our regular clothes, maybe drinking some tea and looking over the ledgers. We don't try to impress anyone. We just want to do right by the land and our families in Parola. It’s hard work, but we do it together. That’s how we survive in this business and keep moving forward together.
