Our place is at House No 1022 in Rozoda, which is in the Raver taluka of Jalgaon. It’s a busy region for farming, especially with all the banana plantations and other crops around here. We call ourselves Rajodak Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s really just a group of us from the village who got together. Living in Jalgaon, you get used to the heat and the rhythm of the farming seasons. We aren't a big company with suits and ties; we are mostly in the fields or at the post here in Rozoda. We started this because doing things as a group made more sense than everyone trying to figure it out alone. At the house here, we keep our records and meet up to chat about what needs to be bought for the next planting. There’s always someone coming or going, checking on something or asking about the market prices in Raver. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We don't have any fancy mission or goals written on the walls. We just want to get the farming done right and make sure everyone in the group has a fair shake. Life in Rozoda is mostly about the land and the weather. We take it one day at a time and try to help each other out when things get tough or when the harvest is heavy. It's just our way of making a living in this corner of Jalgaon.
