Our place is right by the Jain Plastic Park on NH No.6 in Bambhori. Being so close to the highway means we hear the trucks rumbling past all day and night. It’s a busy spot, and we’re always unloading something or getting a shipment ready to go out. The dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we’re constantly wiping down the counters. It’s just me and a few others working here most days. We’ve got a small office space, but we spend more time out where the stock is kept. Bambhori is a quiet enough place once you step away from the highway. We’ve been trading here for a long time, and we know most of the drivers who pass through. Sometimes we sit out front on wooden benches when the weather is nice, just watching the traffic. The office phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about prices or when a delivery will arrive. We don’t have any fancy computer systems, just a couple of old machines and some big ledger books that we still use for some things. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time. It’s a straightforward business, no frills or anything like that. We just try to keep the inventory moving and make sure the paperwork is mostly right. It's a living that keeps us busy from morning till evening.
