Pruthvi Greenfield Producer Company Limited

We started this thing over at Yashvant Sakharam Gaidhani’s place in Palse. Most of us have been around these fields our whole lives, so setting up Pruthvi Greenfield Producer Company Limited felt like the next step we had to take. It isn’t some big fancy operation with glass walls and shiny floors. We usually just meet up where there’s some shade or in the small office space we have. The address is right there in the village, so everyone knows where to find us if they have questions about their crops or the paperwork. Lately, we have been spending a lot of time figuring out how to get the produce to the right people without losing too much money on the way. It’s hard work and the sun doesn’t make it easier, but we are used to that. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and a lot of talk about the rain. Some days the paperwork gets a bit much and we just want to be back out in the dirt. We aren’t experts at the business side of things yet, but we are learning as we go. Yashvant keeps an eye on the books and the rest of us make sure the actual farming side stays moving. It’s just a group of local people from Palse trying to make the farm life a bit more stable for everyone involved in the group. We don't have big speeches or corporate goals, just the work.
