You can find Panzareshwar Farmers Producer Company Limited over at Manoj Madhukar Choudhari’s house in Kusumba, which is in the Dhule taluka. We are a small group of farmers from this specific area who wanted to start working together instead of everyone just doing their own thing separately all the time. House number 12/A is where we keep all our records and meet up to talk about the business. It’s definitely not a corporate office with fancy lights. It’s just a place where we can sit down on some old chairs and figure out things like where to buy our seeds or who is going to be buying the cotton this year. Most of us have been farming since we were little kids helping our fathers. It’s what our families have always done in this part of Dhule. We started this company to give ourselves a slightly better chance in the market. We don't have any professional marketing or anything polished like that. We just do the daily work. It’s often very dusty and hot, and the work never really feels finished. We are practical people who care about our crops and our local community here in Kusumba. Sometimes we have disagreements on how to do things, but we always work it out because we are all in the same situation. We just want to keep the farms going for our kids.
