Nimbaji Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is located at 386/3 in the village of Nimbol, which is in the Raver area. Nimbaji Farmer Producer Company is basically the local farmers here coming together to try and make things a bit easier for ourselves. Raver is famous for its bananas, and that is a big part of what we deal with every day. If you come to Nimbol, you’ll see our fields stretching out all over the place. We don't have a fancy office with a receptionist. Most of our meetings happen right where the work is being done, or at the post office address we use. We share our tools and our knowledge because doing it alone was getting too expensive and difficult. Every season brings its own set of headaches, whether it’s too much rain or not enough, or some new bug that wants to eat the crops. We just sit down and figure out how to handle it as a group. It’s not always a smooth process; there are plenty of arguments about the best way to do things. But at the end of the day, we are all friends and neighbors. We want to see our village thrive. We work hard, we get our hands dirty, and we try to get the best price for our harvest. That’s about all there is to it. No big corporate talk, just honest farming work by local people in our village.
