Malhar Martand Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Amalner. Our office is in the Pawar Building, which is right by the old bus stand. If you know the Kalyan Beed Highway Road, you have probably passed us many times. It’s a busy spot with lots of buses and trucks moving through at all hours. We deal with a lot of noise and dust from the road, but it’s a good location for getting things moved. We are a group of farmers who decided to pool our resources. The building itself is pretty old, but it serves our purpose just fine. Inside, we have some desks and a lot of registers where we keep track of what the members are bringing in. It’s usually a bit of a mess with people dropping off samples or asking about payments. We don't have any fancy signs or expensive furniture. We prefer to spend our money on things that actually help the farm. The highway is right there, so we can see the produce leaving the area every day. It reminds us why we are doing this. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, but that’s just life here. We focus on the practical things like getting the right fertilizers or finding a better price for the cotton or grain. It’s about helping the local farmers stay on their feet without all the corporate overhead.
