Khedgaon Nandiche Farmers Producer Company Limited is based right here in our village at Ghar No.354. We are out in Pachora, which is part of the Jalgaon district. This is a place where almost everyone knows everyone else. We started this company because we needed a way for the local farmers to work together. It’s not a complicated setup. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the house to talk about the harvest. Dealing with crops and the market is a lot of hard work and there are plenty of long days involved. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage to get the work done anyway. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us trying to figure out the best way to handle our produce. Sometimes we sit around on the porch and just talk about the weather or the price of seeds. It's a real local operation.
