Kalarana Akrani Farmer Producer Company Limited

Down in Roshmal Bk. in the Dhadgaon area of Nandurbar, we set up Kalarana Akrani Farmer Producer Company Limited. This part of Maharashtra is a bit different from the big cities, and life moves at its own pace here. We are located at Survey Number 13/2. It is mostly just us farmers from around the Akrani hills trying to figure out the best way to move our produce. The roads can be a bit rough during the rains, but we manage to get things out to Shahade when we have to. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the people in the village about what they are growing this year. It is a quiet place for the most part, but there is always something to do with the soil. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the land and the crops we grow here. We wanted a place where we could gather and talk about the seeds or the harvest without having to go too far from our own fields. The building is simple and sits right where we can see the hills. It is just a practical way for us to work together as a group instead of everyone trying to do everything on their own. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't worry about much else besides the crops. We are just local farmers doing our thing together in this corner of the state.
