Bamhane is part of the Shindkheda taluka and it's where most of our members live. We started this because the farmers around here needed a way to work as one group. It isn't always easy to organize everyone, but we manage. Shalikrao helps keep things running at the office. We deal with all sorts of things like getting inputs and figuring out where to sell what we grow. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just a room where we can sit and talk about the season. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but that’s just life in a village like ours. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us trying to do right by the land in Dhule. If you walk through Bamhane, someone can point you to the right house. We have a lot of members now from across the taluka. Everyone has their own ideas about how to plant or when to harvest. We try to listen to all of them. It's a lot of work and sometimes we get behind on the records. But we’re still here, doing what we can for the folks in Shindkheda. It’s a simple life but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
