Vijay Sadana

My place is the Sadana Hospital out on Moga Road in Shahkot. It is right on the way if you are traveling through Jalandhar. We have been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of history. It is a busy spot because of the location. I spend most of my hours inside these walls. It is a family-run kind of feel, even though it is a hospital. We do not have those sterile, cold waiting rooms you see in big cities. Things are a bit more lived-in here. I usually have a lot on my plate, from managing the staff to seeing patients. Sometimes it gets loud when the halls are full, but that is just how it goes. We try to keep the equipment working well, though things do break down from time to time. My desk is usually buried under folders and notes. I do not really have a marketing person to write fancy things about us. What you see is what you get. We are just here to provide a place for people to get better. The road outside can be noisy with all the trucks going towards Moga. But once you are inside, we focus on the work. I have seen kids grow up and bring their own kids here now. It is a long journey, but I would not want to be anywhere else but right here in Jalandhar.
