You’ll find us out at the 17th Milestone on the Pathankot Road, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of Jalandhar. Being out here gives us a bit more space, which we definitely need for all the lawn equipment we keep on site. Unison Lawn Equipments has been at this location for a while now. The road outside is always busy with big trucks heading north, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. Our yard is usually full of mowers and different tools sitting out in the open. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the machines because the wind picks up quite a bit of dirt from the fields nearby. It’s a practical place, not a showroom with shiny floors. We have a small office where we keep the records and take phone calls, but mostly we are out in the back or helping someone load a heavy piece of gear into their trailer. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard and we have to scramble to cover everything up quickly. The staff here is small, just a few local guys who know their way around an engine. We don’t go in for big speeches; we just show people how the equipment works and make sure it’s ready to go when they need it. It’s a long day out here on the highway, but the work is steady and we like it.
