T.K. Engg. Works Jalandhar India

We have been operating out of F-17 in the Focal Point Extension area of Jalandhar for quite a while now. If you have ever been around this part of the city, you know it is mostly rows of workshops and the sound of heavy metal being moved around. Our place at T.K. Engg. Works is much like the others nearby. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal dust and the air smells like grease and burnt sparks from the welding machines. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. There is just a small desk where we keep the registers and a couple of plastic chairs for people who drop by to talk about a job. Most of the guys here have been working these machines for years and they know the sounds the lathes make when something is not quite right. In the afternoons, we usually take a break when the tea cycle comes around and everyone just sits wherever they can find a spot on the benches. It gets pretty hot in the summer months but the big industrial fans keep the air moving enough to get through the shift. We just focus on getting the parts finished and out the door on time. People know us for being in this same spot and they just come by when they need something fabricated or fixed. It is a loud place but it is where we do our work every day.
