Tarajangid

If you head down Nakodar Road in Jalandhar, you will find Tarajangid at number 353 in Tilak Nagar. This area is quite active. You have all kinds of shops and houses mixed together. Our place is easy to spot if you are looking for the number. It’s a simple brick building. Inside, we have set up a small working area. It is mostly just a couple of rooms. We have some chairs for people to sit and a table where most of the work happens. Nakodar Road is always busy with trucks and buses. You can feel the floor shake a little when the big vehicles go by. Jalandhar is a hard-working city. We try to keep up with that energy. Tara is here most of the time. We don't have a big team. It’s just a few of us handling the local tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in. The office isn't very big, so it gets crowded quickly. We don't mind it though. It makes the day go by faster. We’ve got some old posters on the walls and a calendar that’s usually a month behind. It’s a very plain way of working. We don't use fancy words or have big meetings. We just get the work done and go home. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Tilak Nagar.
