Our place is at House Number 70 on Street Number 3. It is in New Patel Nagar, right near the Mitra Hospital here in Phagwara. Because it is a residential-style setup, it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate office building. We do various types of consulting and accounting work for the folks who live and work around here. Raj Kumar started this, and we have just kept going. You might see us sitting with clients over a cup of tea, going through their bank statements or business papers on the wooden table. It is a very friendly atmosphere. We know most of the people who come through the door by their names. Since we are so close to the hospital, people often use that as a landmark to find our street. Street Number 3 is not very wide, so it stays relatively quiet throughout the day. We handle the usual stuff like filing returns and helping small shop owners keep track of what they owe. We do not use big words to try and confuse anyone. We just tell it like it is. If a record is missing, we ask you to go home and find it. We are not trying to be the biggest firm in Punjab, just a reliable spot for the neighborhood to get their paperwork done. It is simple work but it keeps us on our toes, especially when the tax deadlines start creeping up on us every single year.
