We are located at number 48 in Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, right here in Jalandhar. Our business is pretty simple; we deal with foreign exchange for people in the neighborhood. It is not a big, flashy bank, just a small office with a counter and a safe. We spend our time watching the currency rates on a small television and counting out notes for people going on vacation or business trips. The area is usually quite busy, especially in the mornings when people are heading to work. We have a few chairs for customers to wait in, but most people are in and out pretty quickly. We don't do any big promotions or have a fancy website. Most of our customers come in because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from a friend. We take our work seriously because dealing with money requires a lot of focus. We double-check every note and make sure the paperwork is filled out correctly according to the rules. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by delivery trucks, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been at this same address for quite a while now and we know many of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a steady, quiet kind of job that keeps us busy from morning until we lock up for the night.
