We are based in Delta Chamber, which is at 104-B on the ground floor. It’s a convenient spot because it is right near the UK VFS office. A lot of people come to this part of Jalandhar City for their visa work, so we see many nervous faces every day. Being opposite the bus stand means it is easy for people from outside the city to find us. The office is plain, with white walls and some stacks of files that never seem to get smaller. We spend our hours checking documents and talking to people about their plans. It is more about paperwork than anything else. There is a specific smell of old paper and ink in the room. We don’t try to act like we are some big multinational firm. We are just local consultants working out of a ground floor room. Jalandhar - 144001 is where we spend our whole day. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the vendors near the bus stand. The traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the forms. People ask us lots of questions, and we just give them the answers we have. It’s a lot of reading and making sure the names are spelled right on every single page. We’ve been in this building for a while now, so we know the security guards and the other office folks pretty well by now.
