Ujjagar Singh & Company is based out in Ward No-20 of Sukhdarshan Pur Village. We are located quite close to the Slelam Factory, which is the main landmark around here. Being in a village means things are a bit slower and quieter than in the city. Our premises are basically a large shed and an office area where we manage our operations. It’s a practical place. We deal with various materials and supplies that the local industries and farmers might need. The road leading up to Sukhdarshan Pur can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon, but we’re used to it. Most of our workers live nearby in the village. We’ve known each other for years. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s more of a place where we get our hands dirty. We have a few trucks that come in and out during the day to load and unload stuff. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to be moved. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the gate. People know where Ujjagar Singh & Company is by asking around near the Slelam Factory. We take our time to make sure things are done right. It’s a simple life out here in Ward No-20. We don't really follow a strict nine-to-five; we just stay until the trucks are gone and the gates are locked.
