Sarovar Portico sits right on G T Road in Jalandhar City. If you know this road at all, you know exactly how much traffic passes by every single day. It’s one of the busiest spots in the whole city, but we’ve been located here long enough that the constant noise just becomes part of the background. We have a lot of different people coming in and out of our doors. Some are just staying for a single night while they travel across Punjab, and others are here for local weddings or events. Our staff is mostly made up of local folks who know Jalandhar inside and out. We aren't about big corporate scripts or formal greetings; we just talk to people like they're our neighbors. The building has seen many guests over the years, and we do our best to keep everything running the way it should. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit backed up during a big dinner rush, or the lobby gets crowded when a tour bus arrives, but we just handle it as it comes. We don't claim to be anything other than a solid, reliable place to stay on a very busy road. It’s a lot of work to maintain a building of this size, and there’s almost always something that needs fixing, painting, or cleaning. But that's just the reality of the hotel business in a place like Jalandhar. We’re here every day, making sure the rooms are ready for whoever needs them.
