Hotel Plaza Bar & Restaurant

Our place sits right at Plaza Chowk on Old Court Road. It’s been a fixture here for quite some time. People usually stop in because they’re already in the area for work or running errands near the courts. The restaurant side gets busy around lunchtime with people looking for a meal that feels like home cooking. We have the bar too, which fills up more in the evenings when folks are done with their shifts. It’s not a quiet place, especially with the traffic outside at the chowk. The chairs have been around for a bit and the menu is mostly things we’ve been making the same way for years. We don’t try to do anything too trendy. If you want a cold drink and a plate of food without any fuss, that’s what we do. Sometimes the service is a little slow when the lunch rush hits all at once, but we try to keep up. The kitchen staff has been with us a long time, so they know how the regulars like their food. It’s a straightforward spot. We keep the lights on and the tables wiped. There isn’t a whole lot of extra decoration, just a place to sit down and take a break from the noise on the road outside. We’re just here doing our thing every day, serving whoever walks through the door. It is a bit loud with the horns honking out front, but you get used to it after a while.
