Kumar Hotel And Restaurant

Our hotel and restaurant is situated on Nehru Garden Road, right in Jalandhar City. We are very close to the Ajit Samachar building, so we get a lot of people from the newspaper office dropping in. The building is a bit of a landmark for folks who know this part of the city. We have a dining area on the ground floor and rooms upstairs. It’s always a bit hectic with the traffic outside and people coming in for a meal. We serve traditional food that doesn't have any fancy names. The kitchen is always busy from early morning until late at night. We’ve got a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. The furniture is solid wood and a bit heavy, but it lasts. Sometimes the noise from the street can be a lot, but that is Jalandhar for you. We don't do much in the way of decoration; we just keep the walls painted and the floors clean. It’s a practical place for people who are in town for business or just passing through the city center. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who have been eating here for a decade. It’s a lot of hard work, especially on weekends, but we are happy to be part of the Nehru Garden Road community. It’s a reliable spot for a hot meal every day.
