I am Navpreet Singh and I spend my days over at Bada Banuana Hospital in Nakoder. We are tucked into Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of town compared to the main city center. It’s a hospital, so there is always something going on, whether it is someone coming in for a checkup or something more serious that needs staying overnight. I’ve been working in this field for a while now. The building is older, you can tell by the floors, but it serves the local community well enough. People from all over Jalandhar, especially the 144040 area, find their way here. It’s a busy life. My shift usually starts early and sometimes ends way later than I planned. That is just how hospital work goes. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team writing things for us. It is just a place where medicine happens. Sometimes the tea in the breakroom is cold and the paperwork piles up on my desk, but the patients need looking after. If you walk through Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, you will see the hospital easily. Most folks around here know the name Bada Banuana. We just keep our heads down and handle the cases as they come through the doors. It is honest work and Nakoder is a decent place to be doing it. I guess you just get used to the pace.
