Lalit Garg

I'm Lalit Garg and I spend most of my days over at Kamal Hospital. If you know Jalandhar at all, you know Kishapura Chowk is pretty much always a bit chaotic with traffic and people moving around. It’s been like that for as long as I can remember. We are right there in the middle of it all. Working in a place like this means there isn’t much quiet time, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. I didn't really plan on writing a big long thing about myself because I'm usually busy with the actual work. People come in, we talk, and we try to get things sorted out as best as we can. The hospital has been a fixture at this spot for a while now. It's not a fancy corporate building with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where things get done. Sometimes the chai guy outside is the highlight of the afternoon when things get stressful. Jalandhar 144001 is where I’ve put down roots, and Kishapura Chowk feels like home even with all the noise. You see the same faces every day, the same rickshaws turning the corner, and you just become part of the neighborhood fabric. I don’t think there is a need for big speeches or missions here. We just show up every morning and do what needs doing until it's time to head home. That’s about it really.
