Jai Shakti Knitwears

At No. 496 in Shiv Nagar, you will find Jai Shakti Knitwears. We are located right on Sodal Road, which is a pretty well-known spot in this neighborhood. The building is just a regular house turned into a workspace. Inside, we have machines for knitting set up in the back rooms, and there’s usually a pile of wool or finished sweaters waiting to be packed. The noise of the machines is something you just get used to after a while. Shiv Nagar is a lived-in area, so we see our neighbors every day when they walk past the gate. Sodal Road gets busy in the evenings, but during the day it’s mostly just the sound of our work. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just make knitwear and sell it. Sometimes we have to fix the machines ourselves when they act up. It’s a small operation, and everyone knows everyone else’s name. Keeping things organized is the goal, but when we have a big order, the place can get a bit messy with threads and scraps. The sunlight comes in through the side windows in the afternoon, which is nice. Our focus is on getting the stitches right and making sure the sizes are what they should be. It’s just a local business doing what it does every day on Sodal Road. We don't have a big sign outside, just a simple place where the work happens.
