Fifth Avenue

We've been here on G.T. Road for a while now. Most people know the spot since we are right above Pizza Hut Jalandhar City. It's a busy part of town. Usually, the traffic outside is pretty loud, but it's quieter once you get upstairs. We start early in the morning getting everything ready. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you're not used to them. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, but that's just how it is here. Most of our regulars come from the nearby shops or people passing through on the main road. It gets crowded on weekends, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us working the floor and the kitchen. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the tables are set right. It's not fancy, just a place to sit and eat something. Jalandhar is a fast town, but we try to keep a steady pace here. You can see the cars moving down G.T. Road from the windows if you get a seat near the front. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the orders. We just do the work and go home. That's about it really. No big story behind it, just a business in the middle of the city.
