Bani Collection

Bani Collection is based in Raja Garden Colony, over in the Basti Sheikh area. We are right near the big water tank, which is the main landmark around here. If you ask anyone in the colony for the water tank, they’ll point you right toward us. The shop is part of the residential area, so it feels very much like a community spot. We sell clothes and various items, mostly things for local families. The shop is usually filled with different fabrics and colors, which makes it look a bit messy but in a good way. We don't have a fancy display window like the shops in the big malls. We just put our best stuff out where people can see it when they walk in. Basti Sheikh is a lively neighborhood, there is always someone shouting or a scooter zooming past. We’ve lived and worked here for a long time, so we know most of the people who come through the door. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about catching up with the neighbors too. The shop is small and can get a bit warm in the afternoon, but we have a good ceiling fan that helps. We don't use any big marketing tricks. People just know we are here by the water tank and they stop by when they need something new to wear. It’s a simple, honest way to run a shop. We usually stay open until fairly late so people can visit after they finish their own work.
