Goyal Marble

We've been here on National Highway 71 for a while now. If you're coming from Malsian or going towards Shahkot, you probably see our place right across from the Goyal Filling Station. It’s a busy road, plenty of trucks and cars going by all day. We keep a lot of marble here. It’s heavy work, moving those slabs around, but it's what we do. Some days are quieter than others. Usually, people just pull in because they saw the sign while getting petrol across the way. The yard gets a bit dusty being so close to the highway, but we try to keep things organized so folks can actually see what they’re looking at. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and the stone. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy, but we manage. My family has been around this area for a long time. People around here know where to find us. We don't really do much advertising. Just the word of mouth and the location helps. If you walk in, you'll probably see me or one of the guys moving stock. We aren't always dressed in fancy clothes because, well, marble is messy. It's just a regular local business trying to get through the day. We've seen the road change a lot over the years. We usually stay open until the sun goes down.
