Ganpati Marble & Granite

Our place, Ganpati Marble & Granite, is right at Satguru Kabir Chowk on Nakodar Road. We’re pretty easy to find since we’re near the Silver Galaxy Apartment building. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of traffic and noise outside. We’ve got a lot of different stones stacked up in our yard. Some days it feels like we’re just moving rocks from one pile to another. We have marble and granite that people use for all sorts of things, like stairs or countertops. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just a desk in the corner and a lot of stone everywhere else. The guys are usually busy with the water saws, so it can get a bit wet and messy on the floor. We just talk to people plainly about what we have. If a piece has a crack, we show it to you. There's no point in hiding things. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the regular contractors who come by. It’s a hard way to make a living, but we like being our own bosses. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything. We just hope people like what they see and tell their friends. It's just a normal business on a busy road, doing what we can every day.
