Deepak Vohra

My office is located at N.J. 52 in Mohalla Malkan. This is an old part of Jalandhar, and the streets can be quite narrow and winding. I’ve been here for a long time, so I know almost everyone on the block. My name is Deepak Vohra, and this place is where I do all my work. The building itself has been around for decades. It has high ceilings and thick walls that stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. I don’t have a lot of modern gadgets, just what I need to get the job done. There’s a lot of history in this neighborhood, and you can feel it when you walk around. My office is full of old files and folders from years of work. It’s not the most organized looking place, but I have my own system. Friends and neighbors often stop by just to say hello or to ask for a bit of advice on some paperwork they have. I don’t mind it at all. It makes the day go by faster. We usually sit and talk for a bit before getting back to business. It’s a very relaxed way of working. I don’t have any fancy marketing or a big sign outside. People find me through word of mouth, which is how things have always worked in Mohalla Malkan. It’s a good, honest way to live and work in the community I grew up in. I like the routine of it.
