Biju Philip here, working out of the E - 2 Design section. We are basically situated right at the Hq Chief Engineer office in Jalandhar Zone. It is a busy place, Jalandhar is like that. We spend most of our mornings looking over plans and making sure things are squared away before the heat gets too bad in the afternoon. Most people around here know us because we’ve been in this spot for a while now. It isn’t a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the fans make a bit too much noise, but you get used to it when you’re focused on the drawings. We handle the design side of things, mostly keeping our heads down and staying busy with whatever comes across the desk. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking measurements twice. If you come by the Jalandhar Zone office, you’ll see us there. It’s not about being the biggest name around, it’s just about being reliable in the work we do every day. We don’t really do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself among the folks who know us. Being part of the HQ means there’s always something moving, people coming in and out, and plenty of tea being passed around during the breaks. We just try to stay consistent and helpful to anyone who needs the design specs looked at.
