We are located at No. 86 in Basti Nau. It is an old part of the city and the streets around here are quite narrow for cars. We have been in this location for many years. The shop itself is not much to look at from the outside. It is just an old wooden door and one small window facing the street. Inside, we have wooden shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling. They are mostly full of different types of fabric and old samples we have kept. We do not spend our money on fancy glass displays or bright lights. We would rather just have the stock ready whenever someone comes in and asks for it. The floor is made of old stone and it has seen a lot of foot traffic over the decades. We have a small desk in the corner where we do all the billing by hand. It feels more personal that way than using a computer for everything. There is a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving for us. We know almost everyone who walks past the shop on their way to work. It is that kind of friendly neighborhood. We do not have a big staff here. It is just us. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down.
