Arvind Kumar Arora

I’m Arvind Kumar Arora and I run the health care and dental centre right by Old Sabzi Mandi Chowk. If you know Jalandhar City, you know how hectic that chowk can be at almost any hour. The vegetable market is always buzzing, especially early in the morning when the trucks are unloading their produce. It makes for a very lively atmosphere, even if it’s a bit noisy for a dental office. I’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The 144001 area is really the center of everything in this city. Inside the clinic, it’s a bit quieter than the street, luckily. We deal with teeth and general health stuff all day long. Some patients are nervous, while others are in a hurry because they have to get back to their own shops in the market. I try to talk to them and make them feel a bit better, but I’m a busy man too. There’s always another person waiting in the lobby. The floor needs a lot of mopping because people bring in the dirt and mud from the mandi area outside. It’s just part of the job. I don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. I just do the dental work and try to keep my tools clean and my schedule moving along. It’s a basic, local practice for the people who live and work around here.
