If you head down Mill Road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s an old part of town and we’ve been part of it for years. The foundry is a loud, hot place where we work with metal every day. There is a lot of soot and dust, but that’s just the nature of the business. We don't wear suits here; it's mostly work shirts and heavy boots. The furnace is the heart of the place. When it’s running, you can feel the heat from the street. We’ve got a small team of guys who have been with us for ages. They know their way around the molds better than anyone. It’s heavy work and at the end of the day, everyone is tired. A big HR department or a sleek website isn't something we have. Most of our business comes from people who know us from way back. We handle a lot of different casting jobs, some big and some small. The office is just a tiny room with a desk that’s seen better days. We keep the paperwork in old metal cabinets. Mill Road is always busy, especially when the other shops are opening up. We like the grit of the place. It feels real. We don’t try to be something we’re not. Making the parts people need and getting them out on time is what we focus on. It’s a simple way to make a living.
