We are Gee Kay Engg. Industries. You can find us right on G.T. Road. Being on such a main road means there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by. It’s a loud place to work, but we are used to it. We do engineering work here. The workshop has been around for a long time. We have various machines and tools that we use every day. It’s mostly metalwork and making parts for other companies. It’s greasy and dusty work, but it’s what we know how to do. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We don't bother with fancy signs or anything. People just see the gate off the highway. Working on G.T. Road has its advantages because deliveries are easy to get in and out, even if the traffic is a headache. We spend most of our time out on the floor, not in an office. There’s always something that needs fixing or a new order to start on. We aren't trying to be anything big. We just want to do the work right and keep the machines running. It’s a simple life. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and finish up when the work is done. That is pretty much the whole story of how we run things here. We just focus on the metal and the machines.
