Green Park Jaisalmer

This place is on Airforce Road in Jaisalmer. We are right opposite the Airforce Gate, so you can’t really miss the big entrance across the way. Living and working here means dealing with a lot of sand and heat, especially in the summer months. Green Park is a spot where people stop when they are coming into town or headed out towards the desert. We have a bit of outdoor space and some rooms too. It’s not like those big luxury resorts you see in the magazines. It’s more of a practical place for travelers who need a bed or a meal. We see a lot of tourists but also a lot of people who work with the military nearby. The nights are the best part when it finally cools down and we can sit outside. We don't have a huge team, just a couple of guys in the kitchen and one person at the front. We keep things pretty informal. If someone needs something, they just have to ask. The furniture is a bit worn out from the desert air, but it’s sturdy. We just try to provide a decent place to rest. Most people find us because of the location on the main road. It’s simple, quiet for the most part, and we just keep it running day by day. That is about it.
